FB Tutoring is offering a full programme of online summer holiday tuition throughout August, designed to help students build confidence, close gaps, strengthen key skills and prepare for the new academic year.

These intensive summer courses are ideal for students preparing for the 11+ exams in September, children moving from Year 6 to Year 7, and Year 9 and Year 10 students wanting to strengthen their GCSE Maths skills before the new school year begins.

All sessions are taught live online by Fiona, an experienced former Assistant Headteacher, SENCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead with over 17 years in education.

Summer Holiday Tuition Courses Available

11+ Verbal Reasoning

Focused practice for vocabulary, logic, word patterns, codes, sequences and exam-style verbal reasoning questions.

11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning

Support with shapes, patterns, sequences, rotations, reflections, matrices and timed exam-style practice.

11+ Creative Writing

Helping students plan, structure and improve their writing with a focus on vocabulary, description, punctuation, sentence variety and engaging openings.

11+ Maths

Targeted 11+ Maths preparation covering key problem-solving skills, reasoning questions, arithmetic, fractions, percentages, ratio, shape, measure and exam-style questions.

Year 6 to Year 7 Maths Transition

Perfect for students moving into secondary school who want to feel more confident with Maths before September.

Year 9 and Year 10 GCSE Maths

Ideal for students starting or continuing their GCSE Maths journey who want to strengthen core skills before the next academic year.

1:1 Summer Tuition

A limited number of 1:1 online tuition sessions are also available for personalised support in 11+, Maths and English.

Courses run during the day, Monday to Friday, with a mixture of group tuition and 1:1 sessions available.

Many spaces are already being booked, so early booking is recommended.

Prices

Group tuition: £40 per session
Full week of five group sessions: £200
1:1 tuition: £60 per session

All sessions are delivered live online through Zoom.
