My Mission

At FB Tutoring, my mission is to combine academic excellence with personalised care — helping every student achieve success in competitive exams while developing confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Every child is unique. That’s why I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, tailoring every session to meet their individual needs. Whether a student is preparing for the 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+ entrance exams or working towards their GCSE or iGCSE, my goal is to equip them with the knowledge, strategies, and mindset to succeed.

With over 17 years of experience in education — including 9 years as an Assistant Head Teacher and 5 years as a qualified SENCo — I bring both expertise and empathy to every lesson. My approach balances high expectations with genuine encouragement, ensuring students feel supported to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow in confidence.

At the heart of my teaching is trust — trust between tutor, student, and family. I believe that real progress happens when students feel valued and understood. Through clear communication, expert guidance, and consistent feedback, I work in partnership with parents to help every child reach their full potential.
